MeshWX Pro sends official weather and emergency alerts over Meshtastic or MeshCore mesh networks, so warnings can reach people without internet or cell service.
Two ways to run it
- Firmware (beta): runs directly on a supported Wi-Fi device in the U.S. with no separate computer, and monitors the National Weather Service for alerts in the counties you pick.
- App: runs on Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi or Docker and connects to your existing Meshtastic or MeshCore node over USB serial or TCP/IP, without changing how the node normally works. Covers the U.S., Canada, the EU, Israel and Australia.
Supported hardware includes the Heltec V3 and ThinkNode M7. Both versions are free, with no monthly service.
MeshWX Pro is a supplemental tool. Keep an official warning source for your area.
